At the risk of sounding like a Charlie Sheen media plug or infomercial, I wanted to write about the attributes about being a winner in the sales arena. What does it take to be successful in sales? Certainly product knowledge, dedication and sincere ethics are key fundamentals in the building blocks of sales.

We also know that in order to understand your customers needs you must first have a desire to be a winner.
Over the years I have worked with many professionals who have had an extensive amount of sales
experience and know how. So it goes without saying that they dictate successful practices. Even though
they expressed some frustration they don’t close as many deals as they had hoped for. It’s evident that
certain people possess a winner’s attitude. I am a firm believer that attitude is everything in sales.
So, just what is a winning attitude?
